Group of seven investment properties built by a private development company with Hector Guimard as a shareholder. One of the intersecting streets was renamed rue Agar in 1912 in honor of the actress (tragédienne) Marie Léonide Charvin, known as Mme. Agar (died 1891). There is a plaque in her honor on the building.
