Description: 
Dionysian scene, Fourth Style inlay work in yellow, green, peach blossom and palombino colored marble, from the tablinum of the House of Colored Capitals, Pompeii (VII.4.31/51), excavated 1845. A maenad dances in front of a statue of Priapus, while Dionysus appears with his panther on the right. One of two similar panels found, the other has a maenad and satyr.
