In 1943, archaeological excavations in the area of Rome known as Lungotevere di Pietra Papa found the remains of thermal baths and probably the ancient villa belonging to the Horti Caesaris (gardens of Julius Caesar); the mosaics and frescoes were sent to the Museo Nazionale Romano. This fresco was found at the river Port of San Paolo (right bank of the Tiber) along the Via Portuense. (Source: Wikipedia; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)
