Description:
This assemblage, comprising a fresco and a panel panel originally designed to hold a devotional image comes from the church of the Orbatello Hospice. The works were brought together at a later date. One of them is attributed to Ghirlandaio's workshop (possibly Davide del Ghirlandaio) while the other is done by an eclectic unknown painter who probably trained under Cosimo Rosselli and who was close to Jacopo del Sellaio.
