The Casa Buonarroti features a "Models" room; but it is doubtful that most are actually autograph pieces by Michangelo. Some of the small and very rough maquettes (bozzetti) in clay or wax have been cast in bronze. This is a plaster (gesso) cast from a lost wax relief by Michelangelo.
