Description:
|
The former convent also contains the great refectory (Cenacolo di Santo Spirito) which houses an art collection (Fondazione Salvatore Romano), including two works by Tino di Camaino. Tino was active in Florence 1318-1319, and finished two commissions for tombs. He perhaps executed a third tomb, from which only this caryatid figure and two angels from the death chamber (London, V&A) survive. (Source: Grove Art Online; http://www.oxfordart online.com/)
