Description: 
The central emblem in a floor mosaic done in opus tessellatum. The scene depicts Oedipus on a chariot pulled by spotted black horses, and attacked by Laius with drawn sword. Oedipus killed Laius, a king of Thebes, without knowing that Laius was his father. On the ground is a shield. No discovery location is noted.
