Description: 
Seated warrior, traditionally a pendant to the statue of Ares Ludovisi (inv. 8602). Pentelic marble (body) and Parian marble (head); Roman copy after an Hellenistic original. Slightly restored; the head is antique (type of the Skopas Meleager) but does not belong to the body. Copy of Greek original of the 2nd century BCE.
