Description:
|
Series of statues from the first half of the fourteenth century, referring to a single master or a single shop in Verona, given the name "Master of Sant'Anastasia", because they are also identified as the sculptor of the carved frieze on the architrave of the portal of Sant'Anastasia, Verona. The name Rigino d'Enrico has been offered as an identification. These sculptures are from the church of SS Giacomo e Lazzaro, now abandoned.
