Description: 
From the Vesuvian area around Pompeii. The niche shows architectural detail, columns, coffered ceilings and decorative swags. At the bottom in a small center panel is a rooster with three pomegranates (or apples). It may have been part of the same nympheum along with the wall mosaic of a boxer, inventory 10010; they both share Third Style characteristics.
