Description:

The goddess Pallas Athena stands holding a spear (missing) in one hand. She wears a helmet, floor-length robe and aegis cloak emblazoned with the head of the Gorgon Medusa. Greek, 1st century BCE copy (signed) by Athenian sculptor Antiochus (Ἀντίοχος) of the famous original from 5th century BCE by Phidias (ca. 490-430 BCE).
