Making of United States Geologic Survey. The Summit of Como Bluff, Wyoming. Elevation 7147 ft. Such open spaces now provide nutritious forage for Wyoming sheep and cattle. For many million years throughout the prehistoric ages it was a marshy swamp, infested by dinosaur, the world's largest known reptiles. The petrified remains of many dinosaur have been recovered within view of this marking.
