Description:
|
An altarpiece with intact frame and base. The lunette above has God the Father giving a blessing, flanked by seraphim. Below in the main panel, St. Bernardino of Siena is on the left and St. Anthony Abbot on the right, flanking the Virgin adoring the Christ Child. Small saints are inset in the frame and there are predella panels below with scenes from the life of St. Bernardino. The altarpiece was originally in the church of San Paolo in Monte all' Osservanza.
