Description:
Found in the Lo Bello cave, 1909; a man-made cave or grotto north of the township of Santa Lucia near the Achradina slope. Discovered with it were lion-headed waterspouts, also in the museum. The statue is clearly influenced by Lysippus' works, especially the Agias statue. The reduced size of this work was suitable for an art collection object, or a votive statue in a small temple.
