Description:
The central emblem of a floor mosaic, done in opus tessellatum work, found in 1869 in Pompeii, the Casa del Granduca di Toscana, also known as the House of the Wedding of Neptune and Amphitrite (IX.2.27). A spring of leaves and berries separates the fish from the ducks, whose legs are tied.
