Description:
|
Chagall created his very first mosaic for the facade of the Maeght Foundation called Les Amoureux which represents the founders, husband and wife Aimé and Marguerite Maeght, welcoming the visitors. It is located on the outside wall of the Library, in the north corner. The building was created by architect Josep Lluís Sert and opened in 1964.
