Description:
|
The identity of the Master of Marradi is unknown; he was a pupil of Domenico Ghirlandaio, named for the fact he painted several works for the Abbey of Marradi. The scene shows Judas betraying Jesus, as St. Peter wounds a soldier, shown at the bottom left. The painting was restored in 2015. (from Museum label).
