Description:
|
During the reign of Paul I (reigned 757-767) the apse was repainted with a monumental Christ. A Genesis cycle was painted in two upper registers on the left aisle wall of the nave, while a third depicts a long line of standing saints flanking the enthroned figure of Christ.
