Description:
The panels are matched and each feature a large candlestick within decorative banding with an overlaid scene of Eros (or an amorini) hunting a deer. From Pompeii, Reg VI Ins 17 (the northern half of which is called the 'Insula Occendentalis'), area 36, known as the Casa della Diana II, which originally had 14 rooms.
