REMARKS COMPILED IN 1987 BY ROY HAMILTON ON BASIS OF EXISTING RECORDS, EXAMINATION OF OBJECT, AND REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE: Consists of two panels sewn together. Natural dyes; handspun cotton thread. All of the designs depicted inside the diamond shapes would be representational to the Iban. See entry for X75.51 for background information on Iban "pua" textiles from Sarawak, Malaysia.
