Description:
|
The Third Style fresco was inspired by fourth century BCE figures and found together with three other similar frescoes depicting Leda, Flora (inv. 8834, both on a green background), and Medea (also on a pale blue background) on panels situated in the middle zone of the walls of a cubiculum of the Villa Arianna, Stabiae (4.5 km southwest of Pompeii).
