Two panels of the same size (inv. MC1222 is 1 cm. wider) set in colored marbles with the tigers facing opposite directions, found in Rome, Esquiline area, from the Basilica Iunii Bassi. Opus sectile resembles wood inlay work, except executed in glass or stone. Intarsia is also a term used for this process. The panels date from the second quarter of 4th century CE.
