Description:
An architectural fragment from the Parish Church of San Pietro in Porto near Legnano (Verona). Dating to the 11th century, created by Lombard stonecutters. According to A. Venturi ("Storia dell’Arte Italiana", vol. III, 1904, p. 122), it is either Saint Peter’s Martyrdom or the Flagellation of Christ.
