Description:
Columnar' sarcophagus chest with columns and pediments separating scenes of the Passion: Simon of Cyrene carries the cross; Jesus Christ crowned with thorns; soldiers sleeping on the sides of the cross (Anastasis) surmounted by a Constantinian monogram (Chi Rho christogram) in a laurel wreath; capture of Jesus Christ; and Jesus Christ before Pilate.
