Description:
Painted in Mougins, November 17, 1970. Picasso painted some Spanish themes, including works based on Goya and Velázquez, from 1966 to the end of his life. Many were highly stylized figures which Picasso depicted with a bright, vibrant palette and represent a return to his childhood visions as well as to his Spanish roots.
